The Village of Coconut Grove

I love local history. I love living in Coconut Grove. But I am also dismayed at the quick changes in our community. The disregard of trees, and canopy. The lack of preservation for older homes and historical buildings. It is painful. I find solace in memorializing street scenes, houses, storefronts, and their stories in these simple colorful pieces. This limited series includes existing merchants and others who are no longer in business, but who have been symbolic of our coastal town’s charm and diversity. I hope you like the whimsical pieces and that they help you remember and connect with our Village life. The art pieces have a white border and look good individually or grouped together. The giclee prints are placed on good quality foam board and can be displayed as is or framed by you.

All sale proceeds go to the Coconut Grove Crisis Food Pantry. They supply bags of non-perishable and fresh groceries weekly to over 150 households in our community. I find their phenomenal volunteer work inspiring and hope you will too.
